Solidarity with all fighting for Indigenous rights and decolonization throughout Canada as we celebrate resistance, solidarity, and strength: all deeply Canadian values.
On #Canada150 let’s commit to meaningful reconciliation, and to making Canada more equal, just and inclusive. Happy Canada Day to all. June has been a busy month here at Durham Northumberland CUPE District Council. We had teams participate in CUPE 218's Charity Golf Tournament where all proceeds went to the United Way. Great job to the organizers! We also had members from Council march in Toronto's Pride Parade!
Great Day at the CUPE 9112 Activist Day. A day of solidarity where CUPE Locals in Durham Northumberland discuss common issues. Topics included violence in the workplace, CUPE Ontario tools and resources, mental health and much, much more.
