Essex County Library Workers have been on strike since June 25th after management refused to back down from concessions being pushed by the Essex County Council.
Summer library programs are critical to the community and management’s refusal to return to the bargaining table is robbing kids and their families of activities they rely on.

Mississauga Library Workers have been on strike since July 4th after negotiations broke down. Workers are trying to negotiate a fair collective agreement that addresses the high levels of part-time, precarious work at Mississauga Library Services where half the workers are part-time and have no benefits.
